Civil Engineering Department
Introduction to Civil Engineering Department:
Due to lots of opportunities and Civil Engineering-related problems in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) established Civil Engineering Department in the framework of the Geology and Mine Engineering Faculty of Ghazni Technical University in 2019. The students from all over the country are trained in this department. The curriculum of the department mainly focuses on the:
- Structural Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Transportation Engineering
- Surveying
- Water Engineering
Currently, Civil Engineering has Three lecturers, the department plans to hire other eligible master lecturers also in the near future.
Department of Civil Engineering strives to become a well-recognized institution in the country with the support of qualified graduates through better social development and services.
Mission:
Department of Civil Engineering endeavors to create a contemporary academic environment through standardized teaching, academic research, design and practical work (laboratory).

Solaiman Ahmadi, son of Ahmad Ali, was born on July 10, 1995, in the Yakawlang district of Bamiyan province. He completed his high school education at the Boys' High School in the center of Yakawlang and, after successfully passing the national entrance exam (Kankor) in 2013, enrolled in the Civil Engineering program at Al-Beroni University. Solaiman graduated in 2017 with the overall first rank in the Civil Engineering field. After graduation, he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering at Rabia Balkhi University from 2018 to 2021, during which time he undertook several building designs both domestically and internationally. On May 7, 2022, after succeeding in the faculty exam, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at Ghazni Technical University, where he currently serves as the head of the Civil Engineering Department. |

Asadullah Ziar |

Asadullah Ziar, son of Mohammad Arif, was born on August 12, 1999, in the Band-e-Chak district of Maidan Wardak province. He completed his high school degree at Qala-e-Kashif High School in Kabul province. After successfully passing the national university entrance exam (Kankor) in 2016, he enrolled in the Civil Engineering Department at Kandahar University. Asadullah Ziar graduated with honors in Civil Engineering in 2020.Following his graduation, from 2020 to 2022, he worked as a field engineer on various projects across the country. On May 7, 2022, after passing the academic examination, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at Ghazni Technical University. Currently, he is pursuing his Master's degree at Manisa Celal Bayar University in Turkey. |

Haji Muhammad Hemat, son of Amir Muhammad, was born in 1375 AH in a scholarly family in Andar district of Ghazni Province. He completed his high school education at Sultan Shahab Uddin High School of Andar district. He joined the civil engineering department of Kandahar University through the national entrance exam in 1399. and he graduated in 1399 with a high degree and received a bachelor's degree. During the university and after graduation, he worked as a site engineer with various construction companies and projects. In the year 1400 A.H., he was successfully appointed as a laboratory technical assistant in the civil engineering department of Ghazni Technical University through open competition and started working as an honorary teacher in the civil engineering department. On 4/19/1401, he was successfully appointed as an official teacher for the civil engineering department of Ghazni Technical University through open competition. Now, in addition to teaching in the civil Engineering Department, he is busy serving his religion, country, peoples and homeland as the manager of the appointment and academic promotions of the university teachers and in charge of some important committees of the university. |

Mohammad Ashraf Armal, son of the late Dr. Mohammad Sadiq, was born in 1997 in a religious and scholarly family in Jaghatu District, Wardak Province. He completed his high school education at Noor High School in Ghazni Province. After passing the national university entrance exam, he was admitted to the Civil Engineering Department at Kandahar University in 2016, graduating with a diploma in 2020. He served his country by working with several domestic construction companies. On May 7, 2022, he successfully passed the academic examination and became a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at Ghazni Technical University.
