A Scientific Seminar on "Qurbani (Udhiyyah)" Was Held!

Today, Monday, a valuable and important scientific seminar under the title of “Qurbani (Udhiyyah)” was organized by the Department of Dawat and Guidance of Ghazni Technical University for the university’s academic, administrative, and service staff in the university’s main conference hall.
The seminar began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Mawlawi Abdulrahman Saad, who also delivered the opening speech.
Following this, the Deputy of Financial and Administrative Affairs of Ghazni Technical University, Mufti Gulbuddin Ahmad Yousuf, presented detailed information about Qurbani.
He elaborated on the Shariah status of Qurbani, its legitimacy, the philosophy of the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), fiqhi rulings, conditions, eligible recipients, the proper time for Qurbani, types of sacrifices, and the responsibilities of the Muslim Ummah regarding this act of worship.
He emphasized that the spirit of Qurbani reflects taqwa (piety), sincerity, and a servant’s deep connection with Allah Almighty. He noted that this Sunnah carries profound messages of unity, selflessness, and sacrifice within the Muslim community.
Participants appreciated the religious and educational value of the seminar and expressed their desire for such programs to continue for the promotion of Islamic awareness and spiritual development.
